Mr. Wonderful grew up in a big family of musicians. He studied at the Mannes College of Music in New York Jazz and commercial music and at the Superior Nationnal Conservatory in Lyon France Music of the Romantic Era.
As a teenager Mr. Wonderful began to play by ear. During his high school years
he formed a trio and performed for dances, concerts, and other events.
Mr. Wonderful also composed music for tape dancing demo films. He's talents
aren't confined to just one idiom because he's as well rounded musician playing
and singing a variety of styles which including: boogie-woogie, jazz, swing,
soul music, Ragtime, Pop, Blues, Ballad and Gospel.
It seems all wrong until Lady Aysha Steps up to the microphone and starts to sing: Standard jazz tunes, many of which are more than three times older than she is.
Incredible how she sings these songs with a lot of spirit.
The wonder with the Lady Aysha is she sings the standard jazz tunes as
well as the actual pop music. Some of her favorite are Step by step from
Whitney Houston, Together again by Janet Jackson, I am outta love form
Anastasia and many more.
Lady Ernestine is a wonderful togolease singer and songwriter with a great and sensual voice. She also plays Guitar and Djembe, as music is her life.
Her genres are world music, blues, jazz, classic, opéra and african traditional music.
